Another warning to Brits from the British Embassy today:

"Demonstrations are planned today in Belgrade. It is possible that disturbances in Kosovo may have an impact in Serbia as well. We advise avoiding Belgrade City Centre where possible and exercising caution elsewhere."

Probably staying indoors is a good idea. I have a feeling they won't allow things to get out of hand like last time, but you never know, just not worth getting caught up in anything...

You know, I keep getting text messages from the British Embassy every time I walk through the Trg Republic, telling me to avoid it in about 10 minutes, as this massive protest is about to break out.

Ok, I may have been exaggerating a tad there, but this has happened twice now. Both times, I've been in the Trg Republic (by chance, I don't purposely seek out trouble) and the place is usually crawling with police and there is a distinct lack of protesters....
