Hi Forum members.
If anyone is interested, I am selling a traditional 'U' shaped farmhouse which is compleatly cleared out and is ready for renovating.
Its located in a pretty village called Velika Polana, in the north east region of Slovenia called Prekmurje.
The village is a registered stork village, where mating pairs of storks return each year to lay their eggs and hatch their young.
The village lies between two thermal spas, one in Lendava and the other in Moravske Toplice called Terme 3000.
The village has a supermarket, postoffice, bank, and is on mains water and mains sewage.
The price is 39,950 euro.
We will pay the sales tax and the buyer will pay the legal fees of around 300euro. The house is fully entered into the Slovenian land registry and we are the legal owners of house and land.
To buy a property in Slovenia you need to be an EU pasport holder or an American passport holder. Other nationalities can buy if they set up a firm.
As we live just 20 mins from the property we can arrange for any renovation works and can introduce the buyer to local builders who we have used on other jobs who are fair.
The property once renovated would make a super holiday rental property.
Just PM me and I shall be happy to email you some pics.
