Apologies if you recently encountered any tawdry porn/spam type messages on the forum. Unfortunately this is a problem all forums have to deal with - automated spam "bots" that trawl around the Internet looking for places to hang links to their masters' sordid little sites.

I have now added a module to prevent this - it means anyone registering for the forum just has to type in a blindingly obvious (to human beings) code word in order to be allowed to register, and so far I see it has stopped a number of bot registration attempts, so I think this won't be happening too much in the future.

Sorry once again - this forum encourages a range of discussion, but we will not tolerate any form of adult content appearing here.
