Just so you can get a tiny taste of what life in Montenegro is like:
It's back in 1996 and I'm in the port town of Bar (Bar, of the elsewhere-maligned bus station toilets) with some guests from England. Wondering what to have for dinner, we spot a restaurant bearing the word "Pizzeria" in the centre of town (in the ugly concrete shopping centre). "Pizza? Might as well..." (though there is much better fare to be had in Montenegro, I should point out). We go in and sit down and after the customary half-hour of the waiter ignoring us, he eventually graces us with his presence. "What varieties of pizza have you got?" we ask optimistically. "We don't do pizza," comes the stern reply.

Welcome to Moved East! It takes a special breed to live in Central and Eastern Europe and the Balkans. This is the place where we come to share our joys and woes.
It's still pretty quiet round here - it's always the way with getting a new community off the ground. Why not register now (it's really simple) and be among the first to post something, even if it's just a HI in the General Chat section and a word or two about yourself?
