Well, we just scraped a white Christmas in Serbia, with a nice covering in the morning. See the proof below!
Christmas in Serbia is celebrated on the 25th only by a Catholic and Protestant minority. The Orthodox majority celebrate it on the 7th of January according to the "old" (Julian) calendar, and even then there is nothing like the fuss that is made in the West.
Personally I have found it kind of refreshing since I have been living in Serbia, that the 25th December is basically a workday like any other for most people, and there is far less of the pressure and commercialism there is in the West.
Let us know how you spend your Christmases as an expat in your respective country. Or maybe this was your first Christmas as an expat?
The proof in the (Christmas) pudding
(sorry, rotten shot taken on my mobile, I was afraid the snow would melt before I got anywhere scenic with a proper camera!)

Just thought I'd post as it's been rather quiet on the board recently!
I hope everyone who celebrated the Orthodox Christmas yesterday had a good one.
Oh, and if you're celebrating Serbian New Year on Sunday - have a good one!
This is one of my favourite things about living in Serbia. I get to celebrate two Christmases and two New Years. Fantastic - lots of presents and lots and lots of gooood food!
